“In Honor of the Photo – Secession” Exhibiting artist in a group show that were asked to create artwork that somehow incorporated a photograph or photographic method.  In Honor of the Photo – Secession was inspired from the gallery with the same name by Alfred Stieglitz in the early 1900 in New York City.  In 1999, “Natural Photo Safaris” was first inspired 

1999 Visual and Media Artist Fellowship Winner awarded by the South Florida Cultural Consortium for “Cancer”  series.  Knippel was the first winner in Martin County.

Knippel moved to Florida in 1995 and started a freelance business
